This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is and is not allowed on Mirva. By using our website, mobile apps, or related services, you agree to follow this Policy and our Terms and Conditions.

1. Purpose of This Policy

Mirva is a marketplace for buying and selling pre-loved fashion and related items. This Policy helps keep the platform safe, trustworthy, and useful for buyers, sellers, and visitors. It applies to all users, content, listings, messages, offers, reviews, support requests, and related activity.

2. General Rules

You may use Mirva only for lawful, respectful, and legitimate marketplace activity. You agree not to misuse the platform, interfere with other users, or engage in fraud, abuse, deception, or illegal conduct.

We may remove content, restrict visibility, suspend accounts, block access, or take other action if we believe a user or listing violates this Policy, our Terms, or applicable law.

3. Prohibited Content and Activity

You must not upload, post, send, request, list, or promote content or activity that includes or involves any of the following:

  • Illegal goods, illegal services, or activity that violates applicable law.
  • Stolen goods, counterfeit goods, fake branding, or intellectual property infringement.
  • Age-restricted goods, unsafe goods, weapons, explosives, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, nicotine products, or other restricted items.
  • Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, abusive language, stalking, or intimidation.
  • Sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise inappropriate content.
  • Violent, graphic, gore-heavy, or otherwise disturbing content outside lawful, newsworthy, or safety-related contexts.
  • Scams, phishing, impersonation, fake payment requests, or financial fraud.
  • Spam, repetitive messages, bulk unwanted messages, bot activity, or misleading engagement.
  • Malware, spyware, viruses, harmful scripts, or attempts to harm devices, users, or the platform.
  • Content that violates another person’s privacy, publicity rights, or any other legal rights.

4. Marketplace Listings

Listings on Mirva must be accurate, lawful, and not misleading. You must include truthful descriptions, correct pricing, and photos that represent the item being offered. You must not upload images or descriptions that deceive buyers or misrepresent the item’s condition, authenticity, size, brand, or availability.

You may not create fake listings, list items you do not intend to sell, or list items you do not have the right to sell.

5. User Content and Messaging

You are responsible for content you upload or send, including listings, profile details, images, comments, offers, and chat messages. Messaging must be used for legitimate marketplace purposes only.

You must not use messages to harass, defraud, threaten, impersonate, spam, or distribute harmful or illegal material. You must not try to move transactions outside the platform in a way that violates our policies or local law.

6. Fraud and Misrepresentation

You must not engage in fraud, identity theft, chargeback abuse, payment manipulation, fake dispute claims, or any attempt to deceive buyers, sellers, service providers, or Mirva.

We may use automated or manual methods to investigate suspicious activity, and we may retain evidence related to misuse, fraud, or illegal conduct where necessary for safety, accounting, compliance, or legal reasons.

7. Account Misuse

You must not:

  • create multiple accounts to evade restrictions or penalties;
  • share your password or use another person’s account without permission;
  • attempt to access restricted parts of the platform without authorization;
  • interfere with account security, moderation tools, or safety systems;
  • use false identity information or misleading business details;
  • use automation, bots, scripts, or scraping tools without permission.

8. Respectful Conduct

Users must communicate respectfully and must not engage in abuse, insults, threats, hate speech, or personal attacks. We want Mirva to remain a safe environment for buyers and sellers to interact.

9. Safety, Moderation, and Enforcement

We may moderate content using human review, automated tools, user reports, or other methods. We may hide, remove, restrict, or reorder content if it appears unsafe, harmful, prohibited, misleading, or otherwise inconsistent with our policies.

We may suspend or terminate users who repeatedly violate this Policy, attempt to harm other users, or create risk for the platform.

10. Reporting Violations

If you see content or behavior that may violate this Policy, you should report it using the in-app reporting tools or by contacting us at support@getmirva.app.

Reports may be reviewed and actioned within a reasonable time based on the nature and severity of the issue.

11. No Abuse of Support or Review Systems

You may not abuse support channels, dispute systems, or review tools by submitting false claims, repetitive complaints, or misleading information intended to disrupt the platform or harm another user unfairly.

12. Third-Party Services

Some parts of Mirva rely on third-party services such as payment processors, hosting providers, messaging tools, analytics providers, and logistics partners. You must also comply with any relevant third-party terms when using those services through our platform.

13. Consequences of Violations

We may, at our discretion and where permitted by law, remove content, issue warnings, reduce visibility, suspend features, freeze balances, deny payouts, block access, or terminate accounts if we believe a violation has occurred.
